Senior Maths Challenge Posted: 4/10/24

The 2 students who achieved Gold are listed below and will go on to compete at the next round of the competition.

On Tuesday 1 October, 48 students from Years 12 and 13 competed in the UKMT, Senior Maths Challenge.

The Senior Maths Challenge is a National Mathematics Competition with very difficult maths problems, that students have 1 hour 30 minutes to try and solve. Our students did really well with 18 students achieving a Bronze certificate, 8 students achieving Silver and 2 students achieving Gold.

The 2 students who achieved Gold are listed below and will go on to compete at the next round of the competition. Again, a huge congratulations to all those who took part. Below you can see a sample question from the paper, can you figure it out?
