Chess Competition

We are incredibly proud of the children who represented Wren Academy in the semi final of the National Primary Schools Chess Championships, organised by the English Primary Schools’ Chess Association.

This is the largest national chess tournament for primary schools in the UK, with over 120 schools taking part across five semi final events. We are thrilled to announce that our Under 9 Team has qualified for the finals, placing us in the top 10 schools nationwide.

A huge congratulations to all the children who took part in the competition, your hard work, dedication and sportsmanship are truly commendable.

We are so proud of each and every one of you.
