This term, Year 2 children enjoyed an inspiring trip to the Science Museum.  In the Making the Modern World exhibition, the children saw amazing inventions that have changed the way we live, helping them understand how Science and Technology have progressed.

The highlight of the day for many of us was the brand new Space exhibition.  This linked perfectly to our recent learning about Mae Jemison and the story 'Look Up!' by Nathan Bryon.  The children saw real space suits and equipment, sparking even more excitement about space exploration.  It was a fantastic opportunity to bring our classroom learning to life and fuel our writing and imagination.
