Stone Age Discovery Day

Year 3 recently embarked on an incredible journey back to the Stone Age, bringing history to life through an exciting trip to Waltham Abbey that was both educational and fun.

The children engaged in various activities, such as trying their hand at hunting for food, which taught them patience and resourcefulness and creating cave paintings where they used natural materials such as charcoal and their imagination to create their pictures. Making a fire was another thrilling activity that emphasised the importance of teamwork and responsibility.

Throughout the trip, students developed essential skills as they used simple tools and worked together to achieve their goals. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this experience.
