Vision Day Posted: 25/09/25

Did you know all of our houses are named after churches also designed by Christopher Wren?

On Thursday 25 September the whole school, including our reception pupils, gathered for collective worship to spend time thinking about our Christian Vision. We learned that in the story of Zacchaeus, Jesus showed love that was intentional; he was interested in individuals and he included and invited Zacchaeus to join him, who was not invisible despite being short!  The children had an opportunity to reflect on what their unique skills were and how they could be noticed in class.

We also completed activities in our house teams, learned how our logo is based on the floor plan at St Paul's cathedral, designed by Sir Christopher Wren and finally got to learn all about our house church!  Did you know all of our houses are named after churches also designed by Christopher Wren?

Inspired by the new song we learned called 'Together' pupils were challenged to collaborate and brainstorm words about community, then try to connect them in a crossword style. We noticed that the word unity is hidden in community!
