A Level French Trip Posted: 21/11/25
This November, our A Level French students enjoyed an unforgettable three day trip to Paris, a city bursting with art, history and inspiration.
Day 1 began at Le Marché des Enfants Rouges, Paris’s oldest market, where students used their French to complete a scavenger hunt and order savoury crêpes. In the afternoon, they explored the Musée du Louvre, locating masterpieces using French clues, before ending the day with dinner overlooking the sparkling Eiffel Tower.
Day 2 started with visits to Notre-Dame and Pont Neuf, followed by Christmas shopping at Galeries Lafayette. The highlight was attending a live musical adaptation of La Haine, the film students are studying for their A Level which offers an incredible cultural and linguistic experience.
Day 3 saw visits to the Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe before returning home with memories to last a lifetime, as you can see from some of our students quotes below:
The highlight of my trip was watching La Haine the musical at La Seine Musicale. – Darcey K, 13 Walbrook
The trip was such an enriching experience; we were able to practise our French in real-life situations. – Sophia G, 13 Holborn
The French A Level trip was a lovely balance of improving our French and getting to visit Paris as a Sixth Form. – Lucas F, 12 Walbrook
