Following on from winning their league pool, our Year 10 Netball team competed in the Barnet Championship final against East Barnet School, held at Copthall School.

LYGLondon Youth Games

Our Year 8 Boys made it to the London Youth Games Finals for indoor athletics on 17 March.  This is a first for the Academy getting to this stage of this competition, so this was already a massive achievement.  The squad did their very best throughout the event with some very respectful top 3 finishes in some events.  The level of competition was very high on the day and I am proud to say that we came 7th out of 12 schools that attended.  I hope we can have more students reach this stage of the competition again next year.

Football

The Year 7 boys on the first time of asking won the League Cup.  They are a very talented and hardworking team who were able to win 7-1 in the final against a well organised St James' team.  The squad still have more cup games to play so there is potential for even more trophies this year.  I am very excited to see what the future holds for this team.

All of our squads have done well this year and have been able to get to various different stages of cup and competitions.  We are proud of all the hard work we see on and off the pitch from our students and look forward to many more fixtures.

Netball

Following on from winning their league pool, our Year 10 Netball team competed in the Barnet Championship final against East Barnet School, held at Copthall School.

I am pleased to say that after a hard fought game between two very talented sides, our Year 10 team finished on top winning the game 16-12 and being crowned Barnet Champions for the 2025/26 season.  This means that they are currently the best Year 10 girls team in the whole of Barnet, which is a fantastic achievement and a testament to their hard work this season!
