Year 1 Toys Workshop – A Day of Discovery and Creativity!

On Wednesday 26 February, our Year 1 children enjoyed a fantastic Toys Workshop, bringing history to life through hands on learning. The day was packed with exciting activities, where pupils explored toys from the past, discovering what they were made from and the forces that made them work.

One of the highlights was making their own wooden toy. It was wonderful to see their resilience and determination as they carefully crafted their creations, eager to take them home and share with their families. The workshop also sparked imaginative play, proving that the simplest toys can bring the greatest joy!
