Year 12

To enable students to better understand the worldthrough the study of Sociology.  To understand the significance of the structures that make up society and the human interations which shape society.  To question whether society is based on a concensus or a conflict of interests.  For every student to achieve their full potential.  To create a passion for the study of Sociology.

To give students the best opportunity to come to terms with a new subject.  To make good progress with the syllabus and to teach this in a way that enables their knowledge to grow and develop.  Course starts with units where students relate to their own expressions, education and family.

Year 13
