We were incredibly lucky to see as many animals as we did during the day.Â
We gathered for our Harvest Festival services to celebrate the good food and other provisions that we have been given, to say thank you to God and to consider what we have and why we are thankful.Â
We pretended to be in a dark cave where we did some cave paintings using charcoal and finished the day by making a fire!
Of particular interest to our A Level students was the Galapagos islands display
"The visits to both the Cathedral and Temple were amazing and a great educational experience"
The museum visit focused on the vastness of the universe, introducing children to key concepts such as the solar system, planets, stars and galaxies
We also had the opportunity to handle some real knightâs armour and dress up as some of the people who would have lived or worked inside the castle, from brave knights to Royal Cupbearers.
Students investigated different land cover types and considered the impact on the water cycle, both in terms of overland flow, infiltration and flood risk.
The 2 students who achieved Gold are listed below and will go on to compete at the next round of the competition.
